This cavernous, multilevel club provides ample space (three rooms and six full bars) for 20-somethings and up to drink and dance. Stylish lighting and boom-boom grooves combine for a big-city studio feel. The Metropolitan is housed in a hard-to-find, revamped warehouse known as Generations Hall, constructed in the early 19th century as the New Orleans Sugar Refinery, much of the original exposed cypress and brick remains.
